Privacy policy

This page is translated for your convenience. If there is any difference, only the French version is binding on the business.

This page explains what data is processed when you visit the website or use the contact form, why it is processed, who can access it and how long it is kept.

Who is responsible

Ayman AL ARID – EI, trading as ATN Brico, decides what is collected through this website and how it is used.

For any question about your data, contact atnbrico@gmail.com. Our full contact details appear in our legal notice.

What we collect

When you use the quote request form, we collect the information you enter: your name, a telephone number or email address, the service you are interested in and a description of your project. You do not need to provide both a telephone number and an email address: one is enough, whichever you prefer us to use. We need your name, that contact method and the project description to reply; without them, we cannot deal with your request.

Visiting the website or submitting the form also generates technical data, as it does on any website: your IP address, connection date and time, browser information and request data. This is used only to operate and secure the website and is never combined with your identity.

Our legal basis

Information from the form is used for one purpose only: to reply to you and, where appropriate, prepare a quote. It is not sold, rented or used to send you anything unrelated to that reply. The processing is based on your request itself: you contact us for a quote and we reply. Under data-protection law, these are steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

The technical data described above is processed on a different basis: our legitimate interest in operating the website correctly and protecting it against misuse.

Accounting records are kept because the law requires it; see ‘How long we keep data’ below.

No cookies or trackers

This website places no cookies and includes no audience-measurement tools, social-media buttons or fonts loaded from an external server. No consent banner is displayed because the website uses no cookie or tracker that would require one.

Who else can access it

Several technical service providers are involved, each for a specific purpose:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the website, provides security and technically processes requests submitted through the form. Like any server, it also records technical connections made to it.
  • Resend — sends the email that delivers your request to us.
  • Google — receives and stores the email containing your request in our business mailbox.

These providers process data only as part of the services they supply to us. Data is not sold, rented or disclosed to advertisers, data brokers or prospecting services.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers may process data in the United States. These transfers are governed by mechanisms provided under European data-protection law, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, depending on the provider.

How long we keep data

  • An enquiry that does not proceed — kept for as long as needed to deal with it, then for no more than three years after our last exchange.
  • An enquiry that becomes a project — invoices and accounting records are kept for ten years as required by law; quotes, contracts and project correspondence are kept for their respective statutory periods.
  • Technical website connections — kept for a limited period of no more than one year, subject to the retention periods applied by our technical providers.

Your rights

Depending on your situation and the processing concerned, you may ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, or receive a copy. You may also object where that right applies. A deletion request will be carried out unless an accounting obligation requires us to retain a document, in which case we will tell you which document and until when.

We reply within one month. This period may be extended by two months if the request is complex or we receive many requests; if so, we will tell you before the end of the first month. We may ask for more information if we cannot identify your records with certainty. Proof of identity is requested only where there is reasonable doubt, and never where another method can identify you.

No decision about you is made automatically: there is no profiling, scoring or automated sorting of requests.

If you are not satisfied with our response

You may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, the French data-protection authority, at www.cnil.fr. This is your right and there is no charge for exercising it.
